Test Engineer

OpsWerks is a technical consulting company specializing in operational services for the high-tech industry. We help platform and infrastructure teams operate multi-cloud environments, execute complex migrations, and enable seamless app deployments.

Your Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Test Engineer to join our team. You’ll work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to ensure our products meet quality standards before release. 

You are expected to:

• Execute test cases and document results 

• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues 

• Work with developers to reproduce and resolve defects 

• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and test cases 

• Perform regression, functional, and usability testing 

• Participate in team meetings and provide QA insights 

Your Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a QA or related role 

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC 

• Basic knowledge of web application 

• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced Agile environment. 

• Familiarity in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, ect.) 

• Documentation proficiency 

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 

Plus points if you have:

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Python, Selenium, Playwright) 

• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, HTML) 

• Internship or academic project experience in QA/testing prior professional experience 

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira) is a plus
