We are looking for a deadline-focused Senior Technical Recruiter to be responsible for the sourcing, screening, and hiring of technical specialists to fill engineering positions. This person’s responsibilities include all aspects of hiring, from meeting with hiring managers to write job descriptions to offering job positions to the most suitable candidates. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

You will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies, managing the talent pipeline, and partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and assess candidates for open positions.

You will also be involved in selection processes, effectively manage job offers, provide guidance, support to less experienced recruiters and build professional networks.

This role partners directly with the engineering organization to hire world class talent for this critical function at OpsWerks. While a large majority of the team sits in Manila, we are looking to fill in engineering talent in Cebu, too.

You will be responsible for ensuring the software and other tools required to effectively hire the right talent are in place.

You will lead the mobilization of tech events that will open channels to hire the next great teammate.

You will also be working closely with the Social Media Manager to create social media content on a weekly and monthly basis in increasing the lead talent generation.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Stakeholder/Client Engagement

  • Data Analysis & Hiring Plans

Reviews data and market research and consults with the business to recommend and implement a hiring plan that addresses both business demand and talent availability; reviews and analyzes data to improve staffing performance.

  • Candidate Experience

Maintains candidate satisfaction at all phases of the relationship by leveraging motivators and incentives to engage candidates and prepare them for next phases of the process; identifies approaches to enhance candidate experience throughout hiring plans.

  • Candidate Attraction

Elicits interest in active and potential candidates by using business stories that represent OpsWerks unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards that are distinct from those of competitors.

  • Talent Sourcing

Uses an understanding of talent markets and complex candidate profiles, as well as relationships with talent pools and communities, to identify, secure, and/or develop candidates for immediate and near-future needs and pipelines.

  • Candidate Assessment & Screening

Leverages tools and assessment frameworks from Operations teams and Center of Excellence to assess candidates.
Executes initial screening and assessing of candidates; identifies and gathers information (e.g., ability to hire, relocation, immigration, compensation) to qualify talent pool.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

  • LinkedIn Certification - Preferable but not required
  • 3+ years recruiting technical talent in a high volume setting
  • Proven ability to source, screen and interview candidates for a variety of positions.
  • A “leave no stone unturned” approach to sourcing – must love the hunt for candidates and always be looking for new ways to attract great talent.
  • A roll up your sleeves attitude with a sense of urgency, and a friendly, professional and diplomatic demeanor.
  • Problem solver and able to think on your feet.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of the ATS and social media to build a bank of talent.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Your Team

In this role, you’ll report to the Head of People and Culture. Day-to-day you’ll work closely with other talent teammates, hiring managers as well as the agencies and freelancers that work with our talent team.
