Senior Technical Business Analyst

Your Role

  • Evaluate business processes, procedures, work practices, and anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions
  • Lead reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest frameworks and IT advancements
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Communicate design ideas using user flows or process flows
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and Technical Lead in order to detect inefficiencies and recommend optimal business and development practices, including system functionality and behavior
  • Interface with software vendors to understand their solution offerings, conduct testings, arrange product demonstrations and lead implementation that address business needs
  • Ensure solution documentation adheres to the business and functional requirements
  • Work closely with Product Manager and UI/UX engineer to ensure that application interfaces and designs are documented and are aligned with user expectations and requirements
  • Able to assist the Technical Lead in facilitating agile ceremonies and principles
  • Organize and prepare metrics on a regular basis using repeatable methods
  • Work closely with stakeholders and perform detailed requirements analysis. The output of the analysis would be business requirements, functional requirements, or product requirements.
  • Create use cases and ensure that there are no gaps in the requirements and/or user experience.
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior members
  • Perform user acceptance testing and ensure that deployed product or feature adheres to agreed requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, users and the development team

Your Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of technical business analysis skills in a similar role, ideally in the Hi-Tech, FinTech, or Solutions Delivery industries

  • Excellent research and analytical skills

  • Highly proficient technical writing capabilities

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Ceremonies

  • Knowledge of IT processes and software, as well as business processes

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques, methodologies, and visualizations

  • Work independently and is able to execute from conception to implementation

  • Manifest a strong sense of leadership, able to present and challenge ideas, provide insights, make decisions and persuade others to come up with the best solutions

  • Experience in being a part of solutions/services delivery projects

  • Familiarity with tools, methodologies, and best practices for both project management and business analysis

  • Proven skills in managing projects, developing project plans, monitoring performance and timely completion of deliverables

  • Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity demonstrated through clear communication

  • Must be amenable to work on hybrid work set-up (2 days WFH, 3 days on-site)

Plus Points

  • Has experience in programming using languages such as Python, Javascript, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP
