About the Role

Our team’s goal is to make our Product Services Group (PSG) and other internal teams’ lives easier by delivering intelligent applications, automations and toolings that can multiply their efficiency.

You will be constantly collaborating with PSG to have closer view of their operational pain points and use your software engineering skills to stitch the applications in converting the operations high touch points to automated workflows. 

You will be working with Machine Learning Engineers to integrate machine learning models into our software applications using Python. Your strong background in Python will give you a solid advantage when working with different frameworks like Django, Flask and Fast API. 

In this role, you will be a contributor in software engineering team who is responsible in designing, building, testing and deploying secure and scalable microservices applications. The team works in an agile work environment where we continuously challenge ourselves to improve.

You will act as an advocate in disseminating knowledge for better coding practices and mentoring junior engineers and interns.

About You

• You have 4+ years experience on Python and it's web frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI

• You have experience  creating and consuming REST API web services

• You have knowledge in database technologies (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, Redis, NoSql, etc.)
  

• You are proficient in in code profiling and writing unit tests

• You have  a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Technology, or related field

• Nice to have Skills:

  - Interest in HTML, Javascript and CSS

  - Curious about CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus

  - Interest in design patterns

• Having a portfolio showcasing your projects is an advantage

• Must be amenable to work on hybrid work set-up (2 days WFH, 3 days on-site)
