OpsWerks is a technical consulting company specializing in operational services for the high-tech industry. We help platform and infrastructure teams operate multi-cloud environments, execute complex migrations, and enable seamless app deployments.

Your Role

Payroll Administration

  • Manage accurate, on-time payroll (and final pay) for all employees, contractors and consultants. • Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (Tax, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts, investigate and resolve variances, if any.

  • Coordinate with third-party payroll providers and verify reports before release.

  • Ensure timely filing and remittance of all government contributions, loans, and taxes (BIR 1601-C, 1604-CF/Alphalist, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

  • Maintain a compliance calendar for statutory deadlines.

  • Support audits and BIR examinations with accurate records and timely submissions.

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits including enrollments, deletions, reimbursements, and claims. (HMO, parking, etc)

  • Liaise with benefits vendors and ensure employees receive accurate coverage.

  • Initiate activities supporting healthy and active lifestyle (Meal provisions, Engagements, WerksFit)

  • Support benchmarking and benefits improvement initiatives with Total Rewards Manager.

Documentation & Policy

  • Maintain secure, organized payroll, benefits, and tax documentation.

  • Ensure all payroll changes, tax payments, and government correspondence are documented and retrievable.

  • Assist in drafting, updating policies and processes based on regulatory changes, and collaborate with Finance to ensure policies align with latest labor and ta regulations.

  • Support policy enforcement related to pay, deductions (ATD), and benefits.

Employee Support & Service

  • Act as the DRI for payroll and benefits inquiries and respond within acceptable timeframe to avoid complaints.

  • Provide guidance on payslips, deductions, and self-service systems.

  • Lead discussions in ensuring benefits and updates related thereat are cascaded to all, timely and accurately.

  • Ensure consistent and empathetic communication in resolving employee concerns.

Your Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations with at least 3 years in solid payroll processing and 2 years experience in benefit administration

  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, BIR regulations, and statutory requirements

  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems

  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

  • Understanding of accounting principles reconciliation.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information

  • Proactive approach to regulatory compliance and process improvement opportunities
