Information Technology & Security Associate

OpsWerks is a technical consulting company specializing in operational services for the high-tech industry. We help platform and infrastructure teams operate multi-cloud environments, execute complex migrations, and enable seamless app deployments.

Your Role

As an IT & Security Associate, you will be part of our IT & Security Group that supports all business operations of the company to address incidents and requests fulfillment in production and test environments. You be mentored by a Team Lead and will work with Senior Engineers who will provide guidance, motivation, and support throughout your internship.

As an intern, you are expected to:

• Resolve technical issues related to devices, connectivity, and applications/tools.

• Maintain company assets, such as laptops, computers, and peripherals

• Maintain and upgrade existing hardware devices.

• Setup and configure laptops and network devices and perform network cabling task.

• Attend/take courses for technical and mindset growth and excel on the all assessments given.

Your Qualifications

• Fresh Graduate of any IT or Engineering related courses (BS IT, CS, Computer Engineering, ECE)

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficient in writing technical documentations.

• A knack for learning new technologies and innovations.

• Open to working with the IT Team in implementing service improvement, service migration, automation, and research works.

• Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

  • PC Troubleshooting, Operating Systems - Linux and MacOS,

  • Networking Basics like Cisco, UBNT, or PFSense

  • Programming in any of these languages - Shell, Python, HCL

  • Networking and cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
