Tools & Automation Engineer
We are looking for an experienced IT Tools Engineer to join our IT & Security team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of tools that optimize IT operations, automate workflows, and improve overall organizational efficiency. Your primary focus will be on creating and integrating automation tools within our existing infrastructure and applications to reduce manual tasks, enhance system reliability, and speed up IT delivery.
This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, from code commit to production release. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers, developers, and operations teams to deliver essential tools and applications. Additionally, you will ensure that corporate systems and automation tools are consistently up-to-date, efficient, and secure.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Tools Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, Systems Administrator, or System Engineer.
You’re a practitioner of the following technical stacks:
A native on administering Linux systems such as RedHat or CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu.
Experience on supporting Cloud Environments such as Platforms and Technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Compute Platform (GCP), Akamai Cloud (Linode) or Microsoft Azure.
Experience on containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficient in automation using scripting and programming languages like PowerShell, Linux Shell (Bash, Zsh, etc.), Python
With experience in administering Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise
Knowledgeable on Infrastructure-as-a-code (IaC) technologies such as Pulumi and Terraform.
Understanding of Monitoring, Alerting & Observability Concepts and Technologies such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Working experience in using and automating builds and deployments using CI/CD like Jenkins and Artifactory.
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Agile-Scrum and its ceremonies.
You have Exceptional communication and leadership skills and a strong customer service orientation.
You have the ability to work through complex engineering obstacles using debugging and problem-solving skills.
You are self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success on taking strong ownership of projects.
Willing to work onsite, 5 days a week.
Willing to be assigned on a shifting schedule.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Tools Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, Systems Administrator, or System Engineer.
