We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing and mission driven Data Science team.
As a Data Engineer working in Product Services Group (PSG)’s Data Science Team you will:
Build scalable data infrastructure and understand distributed systems concepts from a data storage and compute perspective
Build different types of data warehousing layers based on specific use cases
Lead the design, implementation, and successful delivery of medium to large-scale, critical, or difficult data solutions involving a significant amount of work
Operationalizing machine learning models
Utilize expertise in SQL and have a strong understanding of ETL and data modeling
You should be able to determine what type of technology is needed to create and manage large datasets, design ETL pipelines, implement big data solutions, and write select SQL statements to produce specific results.
Be proficient in at least one scripting/programming language to handle large volume data processing
Be an individual contributor that is not afraid to challenge the norms and innovate.
Help establish the long-term success strategy for managing data lakes and streaming architectures
Develop relationships with internal and external partner teams to enrich our collection of data.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, ensuring your strategies align with partner software development and PSG teams.
Develop and mentor junior and interns.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
Experience with SQL in solving real world problems
Experience in data modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
Experience in AWS or GCP or both
Experience of Python scripting (or other platform-agnostic language), control structures and algorithms
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
Stellar communication skills
